Julia is currently studying at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, after graduating from the Honours Life Sciences Program at McMaster University in 2012. Between programs, Julia acquired her Certification in Case Management, Hospital, and Health Care Facilities. She has been teaching hot yoga since 2013, which continues to fuel her passion for staying active and for continuing to learn about the body – its various types of movements and its healing capabilities. From 2013 to 2016, Julia worked at Chris Hadfield Inc., where she specialized in handling press-related requests and communications. She is thrilled to be a part of the Peaks for Change Team and is eager to help the organization achieve its goal in raising more awareness of the importance of a wholesome mental health care approach.
